Join the Bayfield Historical Society at the Bayfield Town Hall as author David Yates launches his book on Admiral Henry Wolsey Bayfield. There will be a cash bar and tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the Archives (20 Main St. N, Bayfield). Tickets are $20 and include a signed copy of the softcover book.

The Bayfield Centre for the Arts (BCA) will be hosting a workshop with Carol Finkbeiner Thomas on July 7th at the Bayfield Community Centre. Participants will learn how to paint abstracted landscapes. Registration is required and tickets are $160. Tables, easels and chairs will be provided for each student. The 73rd Annual Pioneer Park Rummage Sale returns Friday, July 8th to the Bayfield Arena after a two-year hiatus. All proceeds from the sale support Bayfield's beautiful Pioneer Park. The outdoor area opens at 6 p.m. and the indoor area opens at 6:30 p.m. For more information, check the Pioneer Park Facebook and Instagram.

Donations for the sale are being accepted, but please, no mattresses, children's furniture or strollers, large appliances, tvs, monitors, stereo equipment, clothing or shoes. Drop off dates for donations to be announced. 

Vettefest returns to Bayfield, ON from July 8th-9th. Corvette enthusiasts will gather for a cruise at Clan Gregor Square on Friday, July 8th before departing the park at 7 p.m.

Join the Bayfield Lions for a breakfast of peameal bacon on a bun with coffee, tea, or juice on Saturday, July 9th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lions Community Building, Bayfield. The cost is $10. Funds raised will support a number of community projects. 

Vettefest returns to Bayfield, ON from July 8th-9th. Join the many Vette enthusiasts at Clan Gregor Square for the morning of July 9th for the Vettefest Car Show. 

Join the Bayfield River Valley Trail Association and author David Yates on a walk through Bayfield on the Heritage trail ahead of the dedication ceremony of Admiral Bayfield Square. Walkers will meet at Clan Gregor Square at 11 a.m. before embarking on a 90 minute walk through the village where Mr. Yates will share stories about Admiral Bayfield along the way. 

Join the Bayfield Historical Society on July 9th at 1 p.m. at the newly created Admiral Bayfield Square near the Bayfield Archives and Library for a dedication ceremony.

Bring the family out and join the Bayfield River Valley Trail Association at the Varna Nature Trails (Mavis and Taylor Trails) on July 23rd for a family scavenger hunt! The scavenger hunt will begin at 9 a.m. and participants will be provided with a list. Bring a bag or basket to collect your items in and bring them back to the starting point to share what you have found. All ages are welcome.

A fireworks display will be presented off the South Pier on July 30th, 2022. The show will start at approximately after 9 p.m. (once it is dark) and is brought to you by Friends of Bayfield Fireworks show.
